。酒款介紹：
其名Baltos源自於波羅的海近一個傳說中的小島，島民稱為-Baltos，島民習慣在作物收成後慶祝豐收，酒標上的畫作為西班牙著名藝術家- Manuel Calvo所繪，繪製的就是慶祝豐收的Baltos島民。40年以上的荖藤葡萄釀造。
以人工手摘收成葡萄後使用天然酵母菌在恆溫不銹鋼桶中發酵25天，後在橡木桶中陳年4個月。多次榮獲國際酒評家給予90分以上評分，並曾經榮獲「Wine Spectator 百大葡萄酒第67名」2011年分為「Wine Enthusiast百大葡萄酒」，2013年份為-「德國Prowein選為西班牙葡萄酒100強」。葡萄酒名人林裕森稱其為「佐餐高手」。

呈現鮮明的紅寶石色澤，晃動酒杯後，酒淚多且流動速度慢。新鮮莓果香撲鼻，帶出甘草、丁香、香草等香氣。濃郁紮實口感，單寧明亮，明顯的黑加侖、黑莓、西梅乾、黑胡椒等味道，尾韻綿長。適飲期達2022年.
Tasting
Deep purple coloured wine with remarkable wild berries, liquorice, graphite and fennel on nose. It shows a greatly balanced and velvety palate.
Drinking
It pairs with all kind of snacks, tapas, cheese, meat, pasta and paella. It would be great if you open and pour the wine some minutes before to taste it in an open decanter and at a temperature of 14°C, never too cool nor too warm.

Lower Bierzo
-COMPLEXITY
The best-known area of El Bierzo has already become an essential classic for any occasion.
We are in the easternmost, lowest part of the Bierzo Basin, mainly between the Cúa and Burbia rivers. The climate is mild and warm, and clay and loamy soils predominate. The gentle hills have multiple orientations at altitudes between 400 and 600 metres.
The Bierzo Lowlands give our wines an unrivalled complexity, an exuberant fruity character and a powerful structure.
Upper Bierzo
-FRESHNESS AND MINERALITY
The least known yet most promising area of El Bierzo, thanks to its freshness and differentiated mineral soils of slate and shale, with traces of iron, copper and gold.
This is the easternmost and steepest area of El Bierzo, where the valley of the Boeza river rises towards the Plateau. Here our vineyards are located at an altitude of 600 to 800 metres.
With grapes from the Bierzo Highlands, we make wines that offer a refreshing minerality, subtle elegance and ageing potential.
Los Oteros
-UNIQUE ADAPTATION
The region of Los Oteros is found in the middle of the Northern Plateau Peninsular, at altitudes above 800 metres, between the Esla and Cea rivers. It has sandy soils mixed with silt and limestone, and is the birthplace of the Prieto Picudo grape.
In this unique location, ancestral knowledge and the variety's adaptation to extreme conditions led to the appearance of creeping vines known as rastrones. This is an exclusive pruning and training system that represents a unique historical winemaking legacy in the world, one which is in danger of extinction and which we are committed to preserving.
These wines are aromatic, structured and velvety, with a refreshing acidity.

At Dominio de Tares, our mission is to respect the character and singularity of each wine and its production in order to bring you the purest expression of our terroir.
That’s why we rigorously hold each harvest to the highest of standards, with a completely manual harvest in small boxes, double selection of the grapes to guarantee the maximum quality of our raw material, natural fermentation with the yeast of each vineyard, and minimum intervention in the winery.
We bring our wines to you when they are at their very best and ready to be consumed, allowing young wines to express their full freshness and vitality, and meanwhile preserving our wines for laying down until they achieve optimal balance in both the barrel and bottle. It is only through such attention to detail that we have become pioneers and leaders with our wines.

SUSTAINABLE RELATIONSHIP
- Guardians of tradition
At Dominio de Tares, we consider ourselves heirs to an ancient legacy that it is our duty to protect and perpetuate. A legacy with names such as Mencía, Godello and Prieto Picudo, which, cultivated in small traditional vineyard plots, full of history and impossible to mechanise, were fostered by the Roman settlers in the area more than 2000 years ago. Later they were perfected by the Order of Cistercians and the enriching cultural exchanges offered by the Camino de Santiago.
This heritage has been at serious risk of extinction since the event of industrialisation in the 19th century, and we are currently putting all our efforts into rescuing and protecting this legacy of old vines and the sustainable relationship with the natural and social environment, in order to guarantee its continuity and transmission to future generations.
